The course that I attended essentially aimed at learning the rules of design, and then breaking them. After studying the rules and some designers, we had to redesign bottles, with our own rules. Here, I introduced a series of bottles which are badly designed, in order to highlight the importance of good design. For instance, a bottle with a protruding end would highlight why one needs a bottom which is concave in shape. Thus, features of design, which would otherwise be salient, are highlighted through these unconventional designs.
